The Study of Procurement Logistics for Organization Providing Services

Diploma thesis uses theoretical knowledge of the logistics procurement and applies them to specific business entity. The acquired information is used for proposals improving allocation of suppliers and supply management. The analysis of suppliers as well as the improvement of the information flow are two main benefits of the work. The study of feasibility and the strategy of the product differentiation determine the conditions implementing these suggestions of improvement.

The master's thesis deals with the study of order processing in the company Böhm Jihlava, which produces seats and sofas. Thesis analyzes actual situation of order processing in the company. The solution proposal describes the project, which contains two stages. In first stage is done suppliers evaluation of company and second stage describes suggestion of EDI communication. These stages of project are designed to optimize the order processing in the company Böhm Jihlava in economic terms of time, quality and costs.

The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate the use of Helios Orange in the context of a specific company. The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical one. The theoretical part describes the history of accounting and developments in the technology of bookkeeping, the development of ERP systems, related legislation and selected possibilities of electronic data interchange. In the practical part, the company PNEU PROCHÁZKA s.r.o. is firstly described. Selected most used modules of Helios Orange are then further discribed and evaluated including the possibilities of change in their use.
Implementation of ERP System

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) was developed from the fifties of the last century. Mainly used was for accounting. Another milestone was seventies when there was added functionality of material management. The biggest extensions came in the nineties when there was a significant increase of servers performance and ERP systems could be more complex. Suppliers began to develop new modules for Customer Relationship Management (CRM), analytics named Business Intelligence (BI), Warehouse Management System (WMS) and others. Expansion of Internet and secure connections began also cause of develop the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). ERP systems are more complex so implementation of this systems are more complex too because it extends to most processes in the company. Implementation starts by selecting an ERP system in relation to the processes maps of the company. Then it is necessary to manage whole process of the implementation and write target concepts of each parts. Equally important is the data preparation and cleaning of data base for migrate to a new ERP system. After programming, editing and parameterization of the required functions and processes following phase of testing. If all goes as expected and acceptance document is approved, ERP system is prepared to productive mode.
System for Online Data Interchange between Web and ERP System

The paper describes a layout and a development of the software product used for fully automatic data exchange and synchronization between a business information system (ERP system) and a web system (an e-shop). The reason for designing such a system is an effort to minimize human work performed when handling the data in both systems. The data integrity in both systems is established due to this mechanism and a significant time saving is likewise a key factor. If the data are changed in one system, the changes are detected and synchronized with the data from the other system which constantly ensures up to date data.

New trends in sales in FMCG (usage of operational CRM)

The diploma thesis deals with three aspects of operational part of CRM -- sales force automation, telephone sales (contact centers) and e-business. The thesis studies the influence of these three aspects on the firm's productivity. The diploma thesis links to the company Plzensky Prazdroj a.s., which provided the data. Practical contribution of the thesis is an evaluation of current business model of Plzensky Prazdroj and a proposal of a new e-business strategy for this company.
